Each standard scan is routed through our API to third-party threat services (VirusTotal, URLhaus, AlienVault OTX, urlscan.io). Those services maintain their own logs of submitted links.
Deep Scan
Adds Qualys SSL Labs and Mozilla Observatory on top of the standard threat check.
Deep Scan combines the standard threat-intelligence query with Qualys SSL Labs and Mozilla Observatory. SSL Labs caches assessments on Qualys infrastructure without publishing to public boards by default. Mozilla Observatory stores scan results and provides a public report on MDN.
